NK/Jayanthi Navodya is one of the oldest buddist school in Nikaweratiya educational zone of the North Western Province of Sri Lanka. Jayanthi Central College consist of 2700 , 110 teachers and 10 non acadamic staff. This is a popular school in the area,in very sense. Eventhough students win national level victories in sports,unfortunatly a playground is not available in this school. This school situated in the heart of the Nikaweratiya town where the cool breeze blows across the Magalle tank which is built by king Mahasen.Magalle tank increase the beauty of the scenery in the area.
